DAY 1: Start of tour in Munich
Welcome to Munich! After meeting up with your tour leader at the hotel this morning, embark on an orientation tour of this captivating city. Choose to join today’s optional excursion and follow a local guide to learn more about Munich’s top sights and taste delicious Bavarian cuisine! Tonight, enjoy a traditional Bavarian three-course dinner at a historic restaurant in Munich.

DAY 2: Salzburg - Lake Bled - Ljubljana
Today’s first stop is Salzburg, Austria. Featuring gorgeous architecture and imposing cliffs in the distance, Salzburg feels like stepping into a fairy tale! Next, stop at Slovenia’s scenic Lake Bled. On arrival in Ljubljana, embark on a walking tour of this gem of a city. This evening, why not sample traditional Slovenian cuisine with our Taste of Ljubljana optional excursion?

DAY 3: Plitvice Lakes - Split Region
Today, be treated to some of the most picturesque natural landscapes in Europe! Visit the world-famous Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia. Stroll along the boardwalks and marvel at the incredible natural scenery of Croatia’s largest national park. Later, head to Split. Enjoy a delicious, three-course dinner at a beautiful local restaurant before heading to the hotel.

DAY 4: Split - Ston - Dubrovnik
This morning, enjoy an orientation tour of Split’s historic old town. En route to Dubrovnik, stop in Ston, known for its impressive town walls and delectable oysters! Arrive in Dubrovnik and set off on a guided tour with a local guide. Afterwards, join the optional excursion for a magical sunset cruise followed by a delicious local dinner.

DAY 5: Dubrovnik: Free Day
Explore Dubrovnik further today. With most of the main attractions located within the city walls in the ‘old town’, it’s easy to navigate the historic streets. Alternatively, choose our optional excursion to Montenegro and experience one of Europe’s lesser-visited gems. Discover natural beauty and rich history as we drive through charming countryside to the UNESCO Heritage-listed town of Kotor.

DAY 6: Mostar - Sarajevo
Travel to Sarajevo, stopping on the way in the enchanting Balkan town of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mostar is home to beautiful religious buildings and churches, and a vast collection of Roman, Greek, Croatian and Ottoman influences. Arrive in Sarajevo, the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and learn all about the city on a walking tour.

DAY 7: Sarajevo - Belgrade
Continue to Belgrade, capital of Serbia. Enjoy a tour of the city with a local guide, spotting highlights including Republic Square, Kalemegdan park and Belgrade fortress. Belgrade radiates gritty exuberance in its many architectural contrasts with socialist blocks set amongst more grandiose buildings. After, sit down for an included dinner before enjoying free time to explore the city.

DAY 8: Belgrade - Hungarian Horse Farm - Budapest
Travel to Hungary today, stopping at a traditional horse farm. Upon arrival, enjoy a delicious lunch of Hungary’s national dish - Goulash, a rich and hearty beef stew! Next, travel to Budapest. Embark on an evening driving tour to see top sights like the Parliament Building and St. Stephen’s Basilica. Later, enjoy an included dinner at a quaint local restaurant.

DAY 9: Budapest: Free Day
The best way to spend this free day is by joining the Budapest+! Experience Budapest’s most famous sights including St. Stephen’s Basilica, Central Market Hall and more on an immersive guided tour. Next, choose to visit the Szechenyi Baths to experience the healing thermal waters. Tonight, enjoy the city at dusk with an optional evening cruise along the Danube.

DAY 10: Budapest - Bratislava - Vienna
The grandeur of Vienna is calling today! Along the way, stop off in Bratislava, capital of Slovakia, for an orientation tour and traditional lunch. On arrival in Vienna, take a driving tour to soak up the city’s cultural and historical splendour. Tonight’s optional excursion offers a three-course dinner and concert in the Schönbrunn Palace Orangery.

DAY 11: Mauthausen - Český Krumlov - Prague
Travel to the Czech Republic. En route, learn about a dark chapter of Europe’s history during a visit to Mauthausen concentration camp. Afterwards, enjoy a comfort stop in the charming Czech town of Český Krumlov. Arrive in Prague later today and take a guided walking tour. For dinner, experience authentic Czech cuisine at a local restaurant.

DAY 12: Prague: Free Day
Explore Prague on this free day. The Prague+ excursion visits the Prague Castle and Malá Strana neighbourhood before cruising the Vltava River. This afternoon, embark on the Prague Tastes & Tales optional excursion for an interactive look into Prague’s history followed by a Slivovitz distillery tasting tour. Tonight, join the unforgettable Traditional Czech Folk Music & Dance Evening!

DAY 13: Nuremberg - Munich
On the way back to Munich, stop in Nuremberg. This Bavarian city is home to incredible architecture, most of which was painstakingly restored after WW2 bombings. Tonight is the last night of the tour and the group is back in Munich. Why not get together with your new-found travel friends for a farewell dinner?
